CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK
OPEN HOUSE
SUNDAY, JANUARY 29
10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Please join us at an Open House & Reception
To kick off Catholic Schools Week 2012.
Catholic Schools across the nation join together to celebrate our commitment to:
- FAITH - Our students learn how to have a relationship with God,
- ACADEMICS - Our school is held to the highest of standards, and
- SERVICE - All students give of their time and efforts as an expression of faith.
See these ideals on display at our Catholic Schools Week 2012 open house & reception.
- Enjoy refreshments in Joyce Hall to celebrate our successes at SFX.
- The "Uniform Grab n' Go" (formerly called "Uniform Exchange") will be available in Joyce Hall. Please stop by to take home gently-used uniform items for your students who may be outgrowing current sizes - at no cost!
- Meet with teachers in all classrooms on both campuses.
- Visit our School Fair in the gym to see what students are doing above-and-beyond classroom curriculum to maximize their learning experience.
- Check out a video highlighting our All-School Service Day.
Thanks for all you do to support SFX.
Please come (with your friends and neighbors) help us celebrate our school!

We Pray, We Learn, We Serve
Welcome to St. Francis Xavier Day School
Our school serves students from pre-school age through grade 8, including an all day kindergarten class. We have more than 600 students and two campuses. Main Campus is home for the 2nd through 8th grades. Pre-schoolers, kindergartners, and 1st graders enjoy their own dedicated staff and facilities at our East Campus, located at Catherine and Bell.
The curriculum of St. Francis Xavier School meets the requirements set forth by both the State of Illinois and the Archdiocese of Chicago's Office of Catholic Education. Additionally, our students are offered a wide variety of opportunities to develop social and leadership skills through many programs beyond the classroom.
We pray, we learn, we serve.
Take a look inside at the many ways the SFX students, parents, faculty, and staff live that mission.
